I am in fact alive. Surprisingly.
School has been crazy this past year! I would have to say it's been the best school year I've ever had (which is nice for a super-senior year) but it's also been the toughest. So many projects, so little time... And we have this personal worldview project due in a month. A ten minutes presentation/video...which... I should probably start on that soon....
Also, on top of all that, I've had dance! It's been so bitter sweet, this last semester at Central West Ballet. Everything changes when you finally come to terms with the fact that you're leaving. I got through Nutcracker just fine. I had my first lead in that show! Russian lead, woot! It was super fun, and I'd give anything to have that role again. Anyhoo, it was after Nutcracker that things really hit hard. We had a show called Existence and it went smoothly enough. Leslie and Rene, our ballet mistress and director, told us it was perfect. But that was also my very last performance at our local theater... So I guess while I was very happy it was 'perfect' and I went out with a bang, I didn't really want to go out at all. Period. But change is good, and I'm moving on to bigger things. Right now I'm still dancing, and we are having a fundraiser performance, but once that's over... it's over.
AND THEN I'LL GO DANCE AT BELHAVEN UNIVERSITY! *cheers*
That's mainly what I've been working up towards. I can't wait! Just four more months, and I'll be back on that beautiful campus in Mississippi.

So I suppose this is the part of the blog where I just say random things:
I got a tumblr several months ago, and I'm trying not to go on. I'm sure you're thinking, "Hmmm.. that sounds a bit backwards. If you got a new website, aren't you supposed to go on it?" NO! Not when it comes to tumblr! I'm pretty sure that happy fandom rainbowy type place is sucking away my life. Like... 10 tumblr minutes equals 3 hours, I'm pretty sure. So I've left for now so I can do my school instead. (Let this be a warning to whoever wants a tumblr. It's awesome, but make sure you have self-control!)
OH! And I'm starting to write a book. ^_^ I'm not sure how it will go, but I have a bit of the main structure and plot line figured out. I don't know what to call it either. I have several friends who are in the process of writing books and screen plays and radio shows. I was feeling quite unproductive, mostly because I've always wanted to write something cool and I'm also minoring in Creative Writing. So I've decided to finally do it! I'll most likely post the first chapter here over the next week. After that, it'll be bits and pieces... I don't think I want the world knowing everything quite yet. Someday though.
I think that's all the real news I have right now.
